WoW got a patch today. What a mess. Finally got it updated, no thanks to Blizzard (and a lot of thanks to Gamershell.com), but the patch was fux0rzed, so there were all sorts of problems. I was getting 1 second pings sometimes. Lagging like crazy. And we still managed to make it all the way through Wailing Caverns with the whole party only going down once.
No luck on the job thing. The only people that are hiring are hospitals and trucking companies. Oh well, more time for WoW.
Thought about calling Paul to see if him and Mike were still jamming, but as usual lost that thought in the quagmire that my brain has become. I haven't actually taken my bass out of its case since the last time Soak 4 played. Or whenever Adam was here. Whichever was more recent. Either way, a long time. No motivation.
Sending the laptop off. I'll need to replace it. Or get a lot of paperbacks to haul around. I think I'm going to look for a real cheapy, something in the $500 price point. All it needs to do is play animes and MP3s and run IM clients. That's assuming rent on an apartment doesn't eat up all of my overage money. I'm still not sure how much Bay is going to cost me per semester. It's not that much though, so I should be alright.
I think I've landed in Thunder Bluff. Time to turn a quest and hopefully hit 24.
WoW decided it didn't need to work anymore, so I obliterated my entire computer. Right now I'm in the process of reinstalling WoW, which takes a long time for me thanks to SBC's lame-ass firewall. Because, you know, the intial installation doesn't take long enough, so it needs to take me another hour to download the damn updates.
Anyway, I finally got my work van time done. Remember when I got that? That was like, 2003 or 2002. Yeah, I managed to slip around for a while, but they finally got me. Oh well, at least it's done. It's not like it was horrible, honestly. We might have done a total of eight hours of work this whole week. That's pushing it. So, yeah, it was just the getting up at 7AM that sucked. Not condusive to all-night WoW sessions and the like.
Now that that's done, I get to start looking for a job again. And looking for a school. And/or. But something. There are well and truly no jobs in this area worth having, so I'm looking at moving. But I'm not looking very hard. Mostly because I'm lazy and I enjoy being lazy.
I heard there are new NIN, Audioslave, and AFI albums coming out soon. Yay for spring!
If only any number of Oregonians had any number of places for me to stay. Not that that would do anything for motivating me to get a job, but it would alleviate most of my boredom.
I need a steak.
Typically after two weeks of solid playing, I'm burnt out on just about any game. I'm trying to wish I was burnt on WoW, but I'm not. I keep playing. Who cares if any sort of responsibility is thrown out a window? What are they going to do, send me to the south pole?
So no updates because I haven't done a God damned thing in the last month other than play WoW. You don't care, I don't care, we all don't care. Let's have a friggin party!
